ASH set up a special department for women’s health. To provide her with reliable medical advice regarding: infertility, reproduction problems or menstruation problems, puberty and growth.

 

The center is equipped with the latest international medical equipment, such as CTG imaging devices and other modern technologies in obstetrics and gynecology, to provide integrated medical care with a high degree of quality, efficiency, and responsibility.

ObGyn Services

  • Periodic examination of the cervix and pelvic examinations.
  • Early detection of cervical and endometrial cancer in case of bleeding in the uterus.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases.
  • Treating any abnormal uterine bleeding throughout the life of the female.
  • Treatment of urinary incontinence in women.
  • Treatment of vaginal infections.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and tumors
  • Treatment of abnormal bleeding from the vagina or uterus.
  • Treatment of premenstrual syndrome and its problems

Pregnancy & Delivery Package

We got you throughout the whole pregnancy until giving birth. Our package covers the following services:

  • Visits and consultations: a maximum of 13 visits throughout the pregnancy

 

Lab tests:

  • Three comprehensive blood tests
  • Blood type test
  • Three urine tests to ensure that there is no infection in the urine
  • sickle cell blood test
  • Urine culture test
  • Two Gestational Diabetes Test
  • Rubella Test
  • Hepatitis B Blood Test
  • Vaginal secretion culture
  • Ultrasound: (3) Ultrasound imaging to monitor fetal growth, placenta, and amniotic fluid

 

Maternity Program:

 

If you are planning on having a baby, you’ll have lots of questions and choices to make: Do I want a natural childbirth? What type of childbirth preparation classes should I take? It can all get a little overwhelming, but with ASH maternity program, we got you!

Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Every woman looks forward to a healthy pregnancy. For some women, complications may arise during pregnancy or have occurred in a previous pregnancy. Concerns that may require high-risk pregnancy care

 

In ASH maternal-fetal clinic, we offer exceptional high-risk pregnancy care for women with complications identified before or during pregnancy and for their unborn babies. We are here to ensure a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery for each mother and baby through careful planning, medical expertise, and multidisciplinary teamwork. With a comprehensive range of high-risk pregnancy services including prenatal care and diagnosis, assessment and treatment of fetal disease, high-risk ambulatory and inpatient consultation, state-of-the-art obstetrical ultrasound, and genetic counseling

Surgical services

Surgical operations provided by the center:

  • Hysterectomy: using abdominal or laparoscopic surgery.
  • Treatment of bleeding after menopause.
  • Treatment of a molar pregnancy.
  • Bladder and rectal prolapse repair, including enuresis and fecal incontinence.
  • Uterine prolapse repair.
  • Colposcopy.
  • Treatment of infertility delayed childbearing and menstrual problems
  • Treatment of infertility and reproductive problems: including identifying the causes and developing appropriate treatment plans
  • Treatment of endometriosis and its associated pain.
  • Treating the physical and psychological symptoms of menopause.
  • Family planning and the use of appropriate contraception and contraception methods.

Natural birth & C-Section

Our medical staff in Obstetrics & Gynecology department at Almoosa Specialist Hospital are highly qualified to deal with normal vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections including high order complicated cesarean sections, high risk cases of placenta previa/ accreta and high risk pregnancy (preeclampsia, premature labor, etc.), in addition to all spectrum of complicated gynecological cases.

 

The Obstetrics & Gynecology department in our hospital is accredited as an “Academic Department” by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
